Regent Coffee Brew and Bottle House
A barrel-aged cold brew house on York — 100 liters brewed a week
Curator’s note
The whole shop is organized around one product: green coffee aged in barrels that used to hold whiskey, brewed here seven kilos at a time, around 100 liters a week. Nothing is roasted on York — the Glendale original handles that — so this room gives you espresso, the barrels, and a latte-art class if you want one.
The coffee
House-roasted in Glendale on Mondays and Thursdays, with about twenty single origins listed down to producer, farm, process and altitude and a Coffee Review run of 93 to 95 behind them, though those scores are all roaster-submitted and the bags carry no roast date.
Sierra Holland Design did the interior, and the brief reads straight off the room: a craft coffee bar up front, small-batch cold brew production and a bottle shop behind it. It is a room built to make the barrel-aged cold brew and sell it in the same square footage, which is why the name says Brew and Bottle House and means it.
