Curator’s note
The hand drip is the reason to come: $7.50, poured off a list of eight lots that names Finca La Reserva and Don Jaime and gives Geisha a price tier of its own. Nobody is credited for the two RNY-label bags and nobody is named as the owner: the whole personality of the place went into the brew list, which is probably the right place to spend it.
The house signature latte, ordered hot or cold, with Vienna cream or a single origin espresso as add-ons.
The pesto sandwich sits on a three-item sandwich list beside a mushroom sandwich and an open fig toast.
The coffee
Stumptown by the shop's own statement, with Hair Bender and Colombia El Jordan in the retail case and a hand-drip list that reaches further into farm-named and Geisha lots.
