Curator’s note
Joan and David Leclerc roast everything they pour, and every lot they buy is USDA certified organic and Fair Trade, a narrow lane to run a roastery in, and they have run it since the end of 2016. The catch is the clock: 8AM to noon, weekdays only, so this is a morning you plan rather than one you stumble into.
Espresso with colloidal gold, maple and milk, topped with gold flakes.
Served with a cream cheese selection: plain dairy or house-made vegan dill and chive.
The coffee
Certified organic, Fair Trade lots roasted at the same address they are poured, with origin detail that stops at region and altitude: no named farm and no roast date on the bag.
