Go Get Em Tiger — Los Feliz
Olive trees off Hollywood Blvd and the almond-macadamia latte that started a trend.
Curator’s note
Kyle Glanville and Charles Babinski met working together at Intelligentsia, then set out on their own in the summer of 2012, first as G&B Coffee running out of Sqirl and then as a stand in Grand Central Market. Los Feliz, their third shop, opened on Hollywood Boulevard on Labor Day 2016 with chef Ria Wilson, formerly of Sqirl and Canale, running a mostly-female kitchen; in 2018 the company built its own roasting operation in Vernon.
A double shot of the house Minor Monuments espresso blend over house-made almond-macadamia milk — the drink a 2014 New York Times feature called almost certainly the best latte in the country.
Called out by name as "legendary" in The Infatuation's Los Feliz review — a warm, griddled counterpoint to the nutty, not-too-sweet latte.
The coffee
Go Get Em Tiger
GGET roasts its own coffee out of Vernon, CA, a shift that replaced the rotating guest-roaster program (49th Parallel, Heart, later Ritual) this shop ran at its 2016 opening. The stated aim is amplifying a coffee's natural sweetness rather than roasting past it, and the current lineup runs two house espresso blends alongside rotating single-origin lots from Colombia and Ethiopia.
Roasts its own beans and pioneered the house almond-macadamia milk — consistently bright, modern espresso across a tight menu.
The room is really the patio — leafy, set back from Hollywood Boulevard, built to be sat in all day rather than passed through. The identity around it is Always Feel Welcome's work, drawn to the founders' brief for a coffee shop that reads fun and approachable, which is roughly what a patio like this does on its own.

The room
The shop sits in a renovated wood-built structure set back from Hollywood Boulevard, sharing the building with McConnell's Fine Ice Creams. There's no seating inside — just a standing bar along deep, recessed window sills and a long counter with a three-group La Marzocco. The design was built around a lean-and-chat bar meant to keep customers and baristas close, with the real living room out front: a raised patio built symmetrically around two trees, benches and bar stools on each side, doors that open concertina-style to pull the inside out. It reads less like a coffee shop with a patio and more like a patio with a coffee bar attached.
