Curator’s note
The Giesen W15 does the work here, fed by green from Cafe Imports, Red Fox and InterAmerican, and the product pages run down to varietal and elevation on a Kenya out of Embu. The room holds up its end: the ground floor of a 1929 Art Deco tower on the National Register, fitted out by Ruthi Daugherty around the phrase 'Welcome to the Process.' Nobody here hides the machinery: it is the decor.
Rose Park's house espresso, a light roast whose blend shifts as seasonal coffees rotate through, made to hold up in milk.

Nine single origins on the shelf plus three blends, roasted in Long Beach on a Giesen W15, with product pages that name region, varietals, process and elevation, though no roast date appears online.

The room
Nathan Tourtellotte and Andrew Phillips brought in Ruthi Daugherty, formerly of Camp Design, to realize this room when it opened in 2019 on the ground floor of the Long Beach Professional Building. Camp Design drew the brand and the bags too, so the room and the shelf inside it came out of one hand rather than three.
