One card runs five single origins at a time, another three, and the roasters turn over with them: Hydrangea, Regalia, Proud Mary and Square Mile have each had a line. Farm and process are printed under them, a Kenya AA from the Karinga washing station, a Carmen Estate natural Gesha, a white honey Gesha grown by Sebastian Ramirez.

A grid of stained wood beams crosses the white ceiling, and one pale wood carries the counter, the bench with its angled dividers, the round side tables and the shelves. Ten to fourteen seats, stools at the street window, and the shop's cat drawn on the glass by the door.
