Thank You Coffee
Curator’s note
Jonathan Yang's grandmother and uncle lived and passed away in Chinatown, and his wife's parents landed here from Hong Kong too, which is the reason the shop is in this neighborhood. The drinks follow the same line: pandan, five spice, black sesame, lapsang souchong.
House spice blend with sichuan peppercorn and MSG under espresso.
The coffee
Espresso, cold brew coffee and tea, pour-over and filter coffee at market price, and a loose leaf list.
Pour-over and filter coffee both run at market price. The bag standing on the counter, beside a Mahlkonig and the espresso machine, is a washed Yirgacheffe from House Roots in Granada Hills, orange blossom and white peach printed on the label.
