Newberry roasts about ten single origins a week on SCA method, and the product pages go as far as naming the three fincas behind the Guatemala lot. The bar is the narrower half of the business: no pour-over at any price, and an espresso listed only as 'weekly roast,' which is a fair amount of trust to ask of a stranger.
The coffee
Ten single origins hand-roasted weekly, with altitude, varietal and an 84 cup score published on the Colombia Huila and no roast date printed anywhere.
There is no manual brew: the pour-over gear up front is retail, and the only drink tied to a named coffee is the $5 Single Origin Brew, a batch brew that changes daily.
