Tot Coffee

Esther Park spent a year building this room with her own hands, and the shelf carries the same intent: drippers, filters and the shop's own brewing guides, sitting right next to the beans. Tot is a teaching bar with a coffee shop around it, and the monthly pour-over pick — currently an Unspecialty and Malic Coffee collaboration out of Korea — is the lesson.

Tot buys rather than roasts — Proud Mary Coffee sits on the retail page, and the shop is the first in the US to carry beans curated by Unspecialty, a collective from Park's home country. The gap is transparency: no country, farm, varietal, process or roast date appears on the store page.

Esther Park spent a year planning, designing and building this room herself, and what she built is deliberately plain — clean lines, spacious, warmth carried by texture instead of decoration. Free books on the shelf and dog treats at the counter are the only soft edges in a room that otherwise holds very still.
